Possible to Remove Center Console?

Wondering if the title question is possible. While it's very useful, at times it would be nice to have that empty space like the Model S used to be. When we haul around our kiddos my wife has a ton of bags and the extra room would be better.

Wondering if the title question is possible. While it's very useful, at times it would be nice to have that empty space like the Model S used to be. When we haul around our kiddos my wife has a ton of bags and the extra room would be better.

The Model X console is fully integrated into the dashboard and armrest, unlike the Model S console which is a modular design that fits within the center tray. There are no provisions in Model X to allow the open tray design without extensive custom modification.
