First Sleep!
Camp Mode arrived just as we got back home.

note: Don’t lock door from screen then open back door. You will wake all campers still sleeping

6'0 - had to do a very slight leg bend, or angle and take the gf's space :D She's only 5ft so some negotiating room

Put both seats forward, put 2 normal cabinsized suit cases behind both seats. Pull the matress closer to the seats. Enjoy not having to leg bend.
For me the sleeping at a slight angle upwards is worse though... I wish I'd have the gen 1 seats.

What matress are you using?

Take out the back seat and the seats will fold perfectly flat with no incline. I agree on building a platform for extra length. I’m 6’3” and can fully stretch out.

Awesome thread! It’s a bit too cold for me to go camping yet here in Switzerland but I’ve been buying some gear to prepare for spring. I am tempted, however, to take a trip up to Norway late January to see the Northern Lights. My list of items so far is below. Would love to hear others ideas! Especially the really creative ones! Aside from the typical camping gear:

First two pictures are morning shots looking out the rear side window and roof. The last is a picture of where we parked. I didn’t think to take any internal pictures but we did this using two regular sleeping pads for camping. Nothing compared to an actual mattress but reasonably comfortable. Also nice to have the a/c on at night since this was done in the beginning of a hot and sticky July.

Hahaha, it's a cybercamper!!

The funny thing is that the first prototype hit the road in 2017. Without the optional roofrack, it looks even more like the Cybercamper. Totally funny that the design aesthetic is the same, the same bent metal panels in almost the same proportions and angles, the same wheel well flares. I wonder if Tesla's design chief saw one on the road, cause it's been driven around SoCal and the southwest.

Tbh cars will look more and more like each other until we hit a proper waterdrop shape for maximum efficiency...

Back bottom removed seat really does make a difference. I am 6'2" and am fine. Dreamcase does support the area that has a void behind front seat. Sometimes I remove that support and fill area with gear so passenger can sit up front and we don't have to do a gear shuffle.

Gear goes from trunk to front seat.

Can you do the one toe trunk open? Gets really easy after day 20.

Best places to camp in my opinion have underbody scraping rocks all over the road.

I guess somebody is going to have to bring up the elephant in the room. Somebody is going to have to report on doing the deed in a Tesla while camping. Was it electrifying, shocking, regenerative, how fast was the recharge time between driving sessions....etc etc.

I’ll see myself out.
haha! just more romantic with the rain drops on the glass above your head... I promised stars but with that tinted glass it takes some remote places and a lot of squinting to spot them.

Will give that a go thanks! That was just some foam and mattress toppers. Very unplanned trip. Great to see peoples setups though!
