It’s a bit too cold for me to go camping yet here in Switzerland
Not with camp mode, or even just with the ability to leave the H-AC on while you slumber. I will find a free charger at a city hall or police station or casino and plug-in for the night. We both wake refreshed, me and the car. I have camped when it was 99° at midnight, but 68° inside.
Always in the car:
Full bedding for a road trip, but it rolls away and looks like I am not car camping when I arrive at a friend's
The advantage of a sedan. Plus this is a very early TM3 so the seats fold down flat. I have actually found it better to sleep with my feet between the seats and my head in the trunk. I can sleep in bright lit areas much more easily. Plus if I am trying to be stealth no one sees my iPhone's light.
I keep my luggage UNDER the bedding in the under trunk area. Toiletries and one change of clothing in a backpack so I can change in a shower or rest area. I keep dirty clothes and extra foodstuffs in the frunk. An electric scooter on the floor behind the driver, a large thermos of ice water behind the passenger. My iPad slipped next to the passenger seat out of the view of prying eyes. The things I am eating or using are kept on the passenger seat and the trash until the next stop on the passenger floor. Coat and hat over the back of the seat. Apple Watch charging overnight hung from the rear USB port.
It's a PERFECT road trip car, especially now that I spent the money on the CHAdeMO adapter. Just 15 more free charge-ups to pay it off. I couldn't ask for anything more from a car. Didn't stop me from putting $100 into ordering the CT, perhaps the wife and dog can join me w/o having to splurge on hotels in that thing.
