I highly doubt it supports 5Ghz connectivity. Maybe open up a 2.4Ghz network just for the car?I only supercharged to 82% didn't check and drove home. now at like 75%.
Quite funny at the supercharger a Model3 and 2 of the ModelY's were smoking out of the front while charging.
Looked a bit scary!
Can't get Wifi to work yet. Wonder if it's 2.4 vs 5Ghz. I don't allow 2.4 at the moment.
Yeah i think that's it. Luckily I can add a side network quite easily with a seperate password just for the Tesla.I highly doubt it supports 5Ghz connectivity. Maybe open up a 2.4Ghz network just for the car?
looking great ! thank youCar a bit wet from getting in at aerospace.

It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and is 802.11ac compatible. This was the case for my 2019 SR+ and 2021 LRAWDI highly doubt it supports 5Ghz connectivity. Maybe open up a 2.4Ghz network just for the car?
I'll have another go tomorrow then. Not sure why it's failing. It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and is 802.11ac compatible. This was the case for my 2019 SR+ and 2021 LRAWD
Oh fair enough! Difficulty connecting on the 5Ghz might be a range issue then?It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and is 802.11ac compatible. This was the case for my 2019 SR+ and 2021 LRAWD
Everything I've read would lead me to believe the car supports 5Ghz. Would be an odd thing to omit these days. It could be a software bug, or a bands problem. My wife's laptop has 5ghz but it's antenna does not pick up some of the lower (maybe higher, been a while since I looked) bands so it had a lot of connection problems until I restricted our router. No connection problems since.I highly doubt it supports 5Ghz connectivity. Maybe open up a 2.4Ghz network just for the car?

It is known to not be the best with weaker signals from past experience. I ended up putting a power line adaptor and access point in my garage in order to get a consistent signal. My phone can pick up my house access point but the Tesla wasn't always seeing it. You might want to rig something to a mains outlet next to your window behind the car there.I'll have another go tomorrow then. Not sure why it's failing.
You did well Tom, congrats for the car and thanks for the posts, looking forward to picking my black/black/20 on Saturday 2pm in Southampton!I aim to please. I'd have done so much more if it hadn't been pissing it down.
2.4Ghz has better range so always best to have both enabled and let devices find the optimum setup.Oh fair enough! Difficulty connecting on the 5Ghz might be a range issue then?
I forgot to look. Job for tomorrow. I didnt want to plug it in at home yet as my house is currently being load tested until tomorrow morning to verify I'm ok to fit the Tesla gen 3 charger. Then I'll try.Great pictures! Did it come with any additional charge adapter or just type 2 and 3 pin plug?
