Damn. I might have to try it out on my friends model 3 then.
I had a courtesy call today for Southampton pickup next Sat and they said no free/rebated charging and SoC will be around 100 miles. And no parcel shelf. How does rebate work?
This was something they were offering special in Bristol due to how low the batteries were.
I think it was discretionary and there were not many of us.

The guy who called me today said that first day free super charging is an urban myth when I asked him specifically about it.
It's not automatic. They said they would email us and we could email a receipt.
Also it was 14 quid. In the scheme of things it's not a lot. Unlike the lucky people with free super charging for life.
The 3 used to come with a 16amp commando as well as the 3 pin plug but that stopped a long while ago. It’s highly unlikely that the Y will come with anything other than the 3 pin UMC adapter and of course a Type2 to Type 2 cable. To be fair to Tesla the Other sizes of UMC adapter (16 and 32amp) are not expensive to buy if you need one or other.

7-Feb Received text asking for deposit to be paid
8-Feb Received text with nr plate
11-Feb Received call from Tesla confirming details of event and to bring Driver licence, car has just under 70% battery
A query for those who have picked up, which connectors / plugs come with the car? Espically interested to know if the commando adaptor is included? Would hope so.
