Just saw a recent update that Model 3 Performance now achieves under 3.0.

I knew from the beginning it would drop down below 3.0 seconds for 0-60mph!

More reason to stay with Tesla for future vehicles.

I don't doubt it can further reach 2.8s or even lower for its full potential.

that's 3.86... i thought you were talking about 2.86 seconds.
Yeah, he must of saw that and thought it was a 2.86.
saw that...

yeah... that's the best i've seen too... i've only been able to do 3.13 on the street.

I hit the exact time yesterday on the street. 3.13. Curious what your state of charge was when you got that and the temp outside. I know my car can do better because it wasn't ideal conditions.

59 degrees - 90 percent SOC - AC off. it was the best of a series done after topping off at around 96 SOC at a supercharger. maybe warmer weather would have given me better results? also curious if 100 percent charge does better? i know it's 'common knowledge' around here that it would, but i've always done better with slightly lower SOC rates after running down from 99-100 ... maybe because the battery is warmer?

I got mine with 37 degrees temp and 81% SOC and only drove for 2-3 mins before testing so the battery was cold. Mine might have been slighly more downhill then yours though. My slope read -0.62%

a cluster of similar datapoints from multiple vehicles seems the best way to do a apples to apples. Dragy shows:

recent P3Ds 0-60: 3.17-3.26
P85DLs 0-60: 3.14 - 3.26

recent P3Ds 1/8 mile: 7.33-7.43
P85DLs 1/8 mile:7.35

And dragtimes timeslips show:

recent P3Ds 1/4 mile: 11.40 - 11.58
P85DLs 1/4 mile: 11.22 - 11.50

Pretty even.

And what is more insane is that Ludicrous Mode is not even announced yet for Model 3 Performance.

I changed my vote from 2.8-2.99 to 2.79 or below.
