Potential Model 3 Driver

Hey gang!

I’ve have/had a decent range of vehicles and will hopefully be leasing a Model 3 next year.

I thought that by joining this forum it will not only give me more information regarding Tesla vehicles but motivate my family and I to get one ASAP!

Welcome! Don't wait to get a Tesla. Once you get one you won't want to go back to an internal combustion vehicle. And yes, you can edit posts, but only for one hour (I think it's an hour).

Well, the lease isn’t up for my Jetta until November 2020.

My monthly is $405 plus $150 for gas.

Even though I’d be saving on gas, the monthly’s will be too high to compensate for that.

According to Tesla’s site, $4500 down and lease is about $400.

Suggestions?

The Model 3 LR RWD drives a lot nicer than a Jetta. Over time it will have a lower cost of ownership.
