Hey guys, I think I've found a bug with sentry mode related to the new dashcam improvements. Would appreciate it if someone else could test this out for me to confirm.
This occurs for me on both 2021.24.4 and 2021.24.5 with a 2018 lr rwd model 3.
When you enable the new dashcam improvements (Controls > Safety & Security > Dashcam > AUTO), sentry is heavily delayed in activating multiple times.
For example: Lock car, walk away then walk back up to the front of the card. Lights will flash and sentry will record. Walk away and walk back, sentry won't record. If you go into the app, disable and then reenable sentry, walk back to the front of the card, it will record again.
At some point sentry does reenable, because I will have multiple recordings on my car after letting it sit in a parking deck all day, but the delay seems very high.
If I set Dashcam to manual, sentry works as expected. I can walk up, it records, I walk away and then walk back, it records again.
Let me know if you guys are seeing this issue as well.
