Powder coat wheels black, gunmetal or....?

Considering powder coating 19” slipstreams. I am on the fence on which color to go with- the car is red. Leaning toward gunmetal, but curious what other colors might work (gloss black)? If you have a red S with wheels other than silver, can you share a pic to help me decide?

Damn that looks clean. Thinking about putting my 21s on the wife’s car and getting those for my P85. Love that style.

Thx :) I was torn between gun metal and a matte black...glad I went with GM! I asked to include a slight bit more clear coat. Not too shiny but not matte. As close to Oem colour but a shade darker.

Few more pics:

So do they blast the rims down to bare metal to do this job properly?

How much do you pay to powder coat wheel?

My aftermarket mags are not handling the winters well and corrosion is starting to get in under the paint.

They sandblast all the coating off, then fix any minor imperfections. They then coat, bake and repeat with a second coat. The shop near me charges $135 per wheel plus removal and reinstall of the tires. I’ve seen prices from $115 to $150 per wheel. Powde coating is much stronger than painting.
