Mine are 19 powder coated satin back. No regrets. Only negative to powder coating is curb rash fix is redoing the wheel. Can’t fix it easily with paint.

You’re right on. Only bad part is when you get a curb rash holy is it noticeable. I got mine done glossy black and I have some regrets. When it’s wet or freshly washed it’s glossy and looks beautiful. As soon as I drive it a bit the dirt just masks the wheel and makes it look like a cheap matte black plasti dip. Can anyone here comment about their experience with glossy black or did I just get a shitty powder coat job done? Thanks

Kinda the nature of the finish, no? I don’t think painted, powdercoat, etc good or bad would make a difference. A shiny wheel is going to look dull after a while...

I’ve been considering powder coating my 19” Sport wheels on my Black LR AWD —

Can you share pics of your powder coated wheels?

what color, size, finish? Cost?

Any regrets?

Here's my powder coated wheels:

Just had my wheels done today. :) It’s nearly impossible to capture the true color of the wheels in a photo but this first pic is the best example I have. It’s a really nice dark grey with a bit of pop to it (better looking than the Performance Grey 20” color IMO; the Performance seem a bit dull in comparison).

Another happy customer from JRWheel here! Luis is the owner and people don’t get any kinder than this man. If you live within an hour, or two, of this shop, don’t bother calling around. Schedule an appointment now. You’ll be very happy you did.

I’m thinking of getting this done but question: what happens to the TPMS? It can’t be baked right? Would a shop know how to deal with the Tesla TPMS w/o messing them up? Or is it a pretty straight forward job?
