Powder Coating Rims in the GTA

Has anyone done it and if so where? Were you happy with the results? Can you share some pics?

I recently put on my Replika R-187’s as my winter setup. I have 19” Slipstreams for summer but I’d like to powder coat them to the same colour as my Replikas.

I don’t want them to look cheap...which is why I didn’t mention plasti-dip (not fond of the look). Any thoughts?

There was a guy on the Audi forums and he used plastidip for a few things...eventually plastidipping his entire S4 a different colour. He caught a lot of *sugar* for it but some people liked it. He eventually turned it into a business 'dip your car' is his company. Name is Fonzi I believe.

Not much help to you, but would like to hear of a good powdercoater as well as the odd wheel could use some help.

I've had good experiences with John at Union Rim in the Steeles and Islington area.He powder-coated the OEM rims I used on my wife's MB E350 for the winter. I think it was in the $600-$700 range. He has plenty of samples in the shop you can check out. www.unionrim.com

I'm looking to get my 19" slipstreams coated as well ... Might go with Toronto Wraptors as they r doing a bunch of other stuff for me .. charging $750 for all 4

There's also Quys coating .. Quy's Coating

Know alot of people who have had their rims coated from him ... Only heard great things
