Back to bus. Funny that you should ask, but today I stopped by an auto stereo shop in my area.
I talked to the owner and asked him if he has worked on Tesla's. He said, yes he has. So, I asked if he was interested in doing some work like installing dash cams and stuff for folks that didn't want to themselves. His answer was yes, send them to him.
So, I recommend you call him and talk about it. I'm sure no one in Hawaii has done the liftgate installation. So, I am almost certain you will need to share with him what you know regarding the aftermarket model and the video.
