Power from the 12v to front cubby

I recall there was a thread some time back but haven't seen anything as of late. What did we settle on as the easiest way to get more and/or higher power to the front cubby area? I ordered some 12v cig USB adapters and some cables but never got around to doing this, but was thinking about it again and was wondering if there's been a consensus on hardware and the best path to run wires. I'll likely want to split off the 12v cig so it's still available for use but with one port up front tied up with Sentry/Dashcam, the single port doesn't provide much power for charging more than one phone.

I remember seeing photos of how someone did this by taking off the console panels on the passenger side. I'll see if I can quickly find it.

I'm not sure this was the tutorial I recalled from before but see if this helps gaining you access to the front: How-to add USB ports for more power
