Where did you mount your controller ? I mounted mine in the empty spot right under the driver side strut. When you say bag it, you mean using the rubber bag that comes with it or using your own ?

I put mine in front of the passenger strut.
Mine came with a ESD bag so I put it in that. Before covering it, I bent the mounting tabs so it wouldn't pierce it.
