If I typed the VIN right (5yjsa1cn7dfp27288) and VIN Decoder – TeslaTap is right, it claims model year '13 due to the 10th digit being a D, so OP is probably past the 8 year battery pack and drive unit warranty.

When it breaks, it won't wait. It can happen to a brand new car or a very old one.

I had this error and also replaced the rear drive unit in my P100D under warranty. Car was at 39k miles, but I launch hard and floor it often and almost always drive in ludicrous mode. SC did not align the car which I did not appreciate, and parts took 5 weeks to arrive
