Powerwall 22.18 Firmware

My PW2s have been updated to 22.18 at some point in recent days / weeks. Last documented version is 22.9 in April
Has anyone seen any changes as a result?
I have a suspicion re the TOU off peak charging algorithm “trying” to be more frugal re using grid charging and therefore leaving more room for PV generation but in last few days it has been “cutting it fine” on avoiding peak rate grid use.
Almost impossible to know for sure so interested if anyone else seeing similar

I'm still on 22.9.2 on my Powerwall Gateway so it has not been a wide-roll out yet.

Still on 21.35.3 here, have been since November 2021. I just assumed that roll out in UK was always well behind the US, but who knows the mystery of Tesla firmware release strategy.

I was promised by support that the December 2021 update would support a 3.6kWh charge rate when in self consumption mode similar to when in TOU (rather than throttled to 1.7kWh). Still waiting

I really wish there's a way to tell when the Powerwall got updated.
I had some strange issues last week, my powerwall stopped charging mid day, may be it was patching? hard to tell. Almost no release notes.
Trust me... I hate that feeling my Powerwall broke again. It took 3 months to have someone over to look diagnose for 15 minutes, then another 2-3 months to replace the Powerwall.

You will usually see a few minutes of no data during the update. Check your production graphs between those two dates

/api/status will tell you the last time the Gateway rebooted which is usually when the SW update happened.

Looks like it patched around 5/18/2022.
But unfortunately, I had issues on 5/13/2022, so, it doesn't seem to be during the patch. It was weird, When it switched to Peak hours, home usage spiked up to same as solar being generated while the house did not use any near the reported consumption. Powerwall did not kicked on and didn't sell the solar back to SCE. I hope my solar/powerwall is not having issues again. I just had it replaced 7 months ago. LOL... this is my second Powerwall =(

I'm new to this forum...

I had an issue this morning with my Powerwall installation...

I've checked my firmware and I'm on 22.18.2

I'm configured for Time-Based Control with the cheap rate between 00:30 and 04:30. I have my backup reserve set at 0%.

Yesterday I generated 31 Kwh on a lovely sunny day and it charged the batteries to 100% leading to an export of 13 Kwh back to the grid.

At 00:30 GMT last night (01:30 BST) the batteries were at 86%, but the system decided to charge my batteries to 100% by putting 7Kwh from the grid into them. Normally the system only seems to put power into the batteries when they drop to about 30% overnight.

I know the forecast for today is not good, but I have Storm Watch turned off!

I'll have to call Telsa on Monday to find out what happened, I'll also ask them why the time based control doesn't allow for Summer Time Offset.

It looks like mine updated to 22.18.3 last night at 8:30pm. The Powerwalls went idle when they were supposed to be powering the house during Peak. I really wish Tesla would do these updates during Off-Peak.

Settings -> My Home Info -> Release Notes

I have gateway 22.18.3 but the release notes only mention 22.9 from April
