Powerwall discharging during non-peak time with TBC

I am a new customer and my system was just commissioned a few days ago. I am on a ev-2a rate plan so my peaks are 4pm -9pm with off peaks from 12am -3pm. Partial peaks are at 3-4pm and 9pm-12am. The app doesn’t seem to have the ability to keep partial peak anymore so i just set my peak from 3pm - 12am and off peak 12am-3pm. So the problem lies in the fact that when I turn on time based control, it discharges from the powerwall and even sends solar energy back to the grid during off peak times. In my mind this cannot be right. My reserve settings are set to 30% and it wont charge from solar if its above that. Self powered mode seems to work as intended (charges from excess solar and discharges when sun is down) . So what is going on here with my system??

I do notice in the app it's almost like it has the peak hours reversed, but mine is behaving properly. The shaded area is supposed to be peak hours I assume, but is obviously opposite.

I found that setting the peak and off peak times correctly resulted in getting the shoulder times right. There was some random grid flow for a day or two and then it settled down. Doesn't Tesla say give it a week?

All the best,

BG
Cool I will try leaving it for a couple days. Seems strange to me that it is like this when it explicitly asks for peak and non peak times.

Not sure related, but my time based schedule stopped working as expected. I rebooted my system late at night to fix an issue where the inverter would reboot mid day. Now that issue is fixed time of use is discharging and charging at weird times. Have to love Tesla software updates, although I am still on 21.24.2.

Jayeszee did you ever find a solution? I am having the EXACT same issue you described. Have done all the resetting, leaving it for a while, etc. It simply does not work as intended. Hoping or someone else found a solution to this longstanding issue.

Hey sorry for the late response. I left it on time of use for 2 days it fixed itself.
