PowerWall for sale - Founder Red - New!

I have a founders power wall set that I bought on this site and I still have not been able to get anyone to install it for me! No electrician will touch it and a couple of recommended certified Tesla installers want 4-5k to install the unit before any added parts.

To clarify… this is a brand new sealed, on a pallet, founders series from the Tesla referral program. I have a client who had one installed here on Long Island for $1,800. There is also a $1,000 rebate after installation, not sure on the details of how that works yet. I will add photos and the shipping label by end of today.

Thanks for all the helpful feedback! :)

Tesla makes it very clear that if a non certified installer puts your Powerwall in, that your warranty is void. I also think a standard electrician is “afraid” of the install, but it’s not much different then a generator. When we self installed our solar system we had to have a electrician finish the work and be willing to inspect and sign off on the work we did, NY does not allow homeowners to do electrical work of any kind, that includes changing an outlet.

You better get them installed quickly. Batteries dont like to be sitting around. They will eventually discharge and brick themselves.
