Powerwall in Self Powered mode

So I put mine in self powered mode, so at dusk it start powering the house off grid.
I set it to drain to 40%, but it never gets that low, the lowest I have seen it go is 70%.
Might be because we are not using much energy at night, but wife has here work pc on all night and is on it maybe 4 hours from 7pm to 2am.

Anyone else use this feature.?

I use it daytime because self-consumption matches solar (balances utility-draw to +/- 30W) more closely and better than TBC.

I set about 65% lower-bound.

If you're in self-powered mode and the PW isn't draining to your reserve setting, then ideally you shouldn't be pulling anything from the grid. What does your grid reading show? Would help to see a full day graph (like yesterday) with all 4 sources displayed. Listing the daily totals it shows under the graph would also help.

I'm self-powered with less typical daily usage than my 1 PW's capacity, so I don't hit my reserve (and as a result also never hit the grid). Sounds like either you're in a similar boat, or something's wrong.

Florida and you’re only using 30% after the sun goes down (4.5kWh or so?) Do you not have AC, or is the Powerwall not correctly detecting the AC power draw?
