Powerwall turns off every day from 5:45 to 6:05

Started happening after I set the time based controls. Plenty of charge but TEG stops drawing power from my 3 PWs for the same 20 minutes every day.

That’s really odd and I have no idea what to make of that. It’s certainly not normal. Does it happen at *exactly* the same time every day or just about the same time? Can you post some graphs from other days showing the problem too?

Have you looked at the powerwalls when it is happening? I’m wondering what the status of their lights is.

Also, what firmware version are you on? In the firmware update thread I believe that some people mentioned that the firmware update brought their powerwalls offline for a short time like that, but obviously a firmware update should be something that only happens occasionally... not every day. Unless maybe something is happening and the firmware update fails and then it tries again the next day and keeps failing.

I’d probably try to call Tesla and see what they have to day. Maybe even call them shortly before it is ‘scheduled’ to happen so you can be on the phone with them while it’s happening.

Is there a correlation with that time and when your solar production is ending for the day (what would we see if you included that in the display?) I'm not saying that it should cause this behavior, but just wondering if the software was possibly having an issue when the solar production got low (possibly below home usage) until solar production ended.

Interestingly it did not on the 25th and 26th so not every day. I could have sworn when I scrolled through I saw every single day, not just most days which is making me wonder if there's a data logging issue except that if I turn on the grid graph, it shows the grid taking over in exactly those 5:45 to 6:05 hole.

The system set to balanced, 35% reserve, time based. Yesterday, when it stopped, the SOC was 71%, so well above reserve.
