My Model Y should be here end of August/early September and I'm planning on doing my own PPF with 3m Scotchgarde Pro. Ya, I know lots of people will say it's hard and have a pro do it. But, it's worth a shot. I'm going to start with the hood, which should be the easiest. I'm looking at getting bulk/uncut rolls this way I can wrap the edges on the hood, doors etc. I'll buy a precut bumper ($142 from North Tints), I'm not that crazy. LOL
So, the question. Can someone provide me the length and width of the hood so I can figure out what size sheet I need.
I can get a precut, with wrapped edges on ebay from North Tints for $183 or a roll 60" X 6' for $152 from someone else on ebay. The roll would probably be more the enough for the hood, maybe twice over if goof on the first try. But I really need the dimensions to make sure it will fit and figure out how much I will have leftover.
Thanks
