Ladies and Gentlemen, I seek the answer to two questions: 1) Did/would you get PPF installed on a new Model 3? 2) If yes, where in Cincinnati or Columbus did/would you have it done? Thanks in advance! Best, Matt
I have PPF (front end only) + ceramic coating on the Model S. Just ceramic coating on the Model 3. This car is mostly used for daily commute and doesn't take much beating. I didn't think the cost of the PPF would be justifiable for this car. But decided to put ceramic coating, so I wouldn't feel too bad taking the car through touch-less car wash. I don't have any recommendations in Cincinnati or Columbus. Only here in Cleveland. Welcome to TMC!
I’ve had 5 Teslas done by a company in the Cincinnati area (Clearbra Ohio). I’ve had the owner personally do each of my cars. Owner’s name is Keith, PM me and I can give you his number. Tell him Mike from Dayton sent you and he’ll take good care of you. Outstanding work for a fair price (and I’m very picky )
Oh, to answer your question about if I would recommend it on a model 3 - Definitely! We did ours. I was convinced after an incident with a sign that hit our first Tesla after installing PPF - no damage - I have a post somewhere on the forum detailing the event. But here is a post about my experiences with Keith and his shop: What are you using for paint protection?
