PPF, question on quality

Hello I just had PPF performed and to me it appears a bit sloppy. I am going back in this week to have them fix a few spots.

Can anyone look at these pictures and advise which areas I should have them focus on and reapply? Or if some of this is standard and not worth mentioning.

Thanks

Also found a section on bumper by front tire where it looks like it was cut/scratched.

Should the entire bottom of front bumper be covered by where those uneven jagged pieces meet?

You should put those up on your local FB page and see what they say. That's a pretty shoddy, amateurish job. Not a straight cut anywhere. Nothing tucked. Embarrassing.
Yea I did. I'm just trying to get an idea of how to approach them and what to ask for. From the responses, It seems like I should request it be re-done or full refund.

I don't know it PPF is ever any better than this. I mean, it's $2 worth of packing tape slapped and slashed by a sketchy tint shop and they're only charging you what, $1000 or so for the hour(s) of labor involved. Mine was just as bad despite hundreds of Yelpers saying "it's the best eva!"

If it helps, this is what a "good" PPF installation should look like:

Update:

I got a full refund from them. I'm going through their insurance to get the PPF removed and further damage inspected at a different very reputable detailer.

The new shop already suspects it will require some new paint. So he's setting that up and then new PPF install after that.

I just looked over your post. The circle didn't even line up on yours. As a professional how can you miss something like that. Hopefully you got it fixed.

And another reminder why I won’t be going the PPF route myself. For what some people pay to do the whole car, you can literally get it repainted. I keep my cars for 3-5 years, not worried about keeping it nice for "the next guy".

To be fair though, it really depends on how much you drive. I drive a whole lot and PPF at least the front has saved me from chips that would bug the hell out of me. I can say I've not incurred any noticeable damage ever since I had my entire front PPF'd.
