PPF Question - Partial Hood Kit Install

Today I received my Model 3 after being fully ceramic coated, full bumper XPEL PPF install, and a partial hood XPEL install. All the seams on the bumper are tight around the edges and tucked in areas where they should be. My question is, for a kit install are seams like this around the hood normal?

Not on mine. XPEL PPF also but the hood wraps around to the inside so it looks finished from the outside. I think eventually thats where the dirt will build up since its in the front hood.

Seems odd. So, they wrapped all the other parts, but didn't wrap the hood? Since it was a partial, does that mean it was a pre-cut? Even if it was, a pre-cut can also be wrapped.

My PPF hood doesn’t look like that. The edges should be wrapped around the hood edge. Looks like the installer was hoping you wouldn’t notice.

Guess that's what I get for going with a cheaper install. The edges are smooth all around so I guess I'll just live with it. Thanks for the insight guys.

If it’s a partial hood then who cares.

There is a big line across anyways. I stopped offering partial hoods to clients and only do full wrapped on teslas, small hood anyways and looks perfect

Looks like pre-cut partial hood with no edge-wrapping.
If it is, it is normal.
