Premium Connectivity Cancellation after sale to a 3rd party

I sold my 2018 Tesla Model 3 yesterday and conducted a Factory Reset to erase all personal data, but forgot to specifically cancel my Premium Connectivity subscription. Did the Factory Reset automatically cancel the subscription or must I follow another procedure to ensure I am no longer billed for this service?

The problem is the Model 3 app controls are no longer available to me when I transferred the car to the new owner. Other ideas?

I was talking about the web account, not the app, but if Tesla has already removed the car from your account, I don’t see how they could charge you for Premium Connectivity or anything else associated with that car. You should be okay.

It cancels automatically once you transfer the car. I sold my car on Jan 6th and would have renewed Jan 12th, but I was not charged.

What if the car had a year subscription paid for? Does tesla refund the difference?

I transferred the car and it did indeed say it would be canceled but of course didnt say anything about a refund.

No, Tesla doesn’t refund any unused portion of a Premium Connectivity (or FSD) subscription.

I’m currently in process of trading up M3 to MY and my prepaid Premium Connectivity will not transfer. However, dealership indicated that, “with higher management approval” may be able to offer merchandise credit to offset what I’ll loose from the Premium Connectivity subscription. We’ll see!
