Premium Connectivity

Tesla have always (eventually) respected what was shown at the point a car was ordered. Way back in May 2019 when I ordered the Model 3 came with the Homelink garage door owner, but this was removed before deliveries started in August. After raising a service request and them thinking for a while, they agreed to come and fit it via a ranger. Also at that time the UK web page hadn't been updated to show Premium was 1 year, after a year and a number of people complaining and threatening legal action, Tesla gave everyone with early orders unlimited Premium.
If (unlikely) there was a price drop, then you could change your order to the lower price, but then would get features at that point.

Is it true that lease ordered cars we don't have to pay for premium connectivity? because Tesla don't have systems in place to charge lease companies so it just keeps rolling after trial?
It's true that lease drivers haven't had to pay for PC. Not sure why, it could just be built into the lease price, the part about Tesla cannot bill doesn't really make sense as they can easily bill drivers for supercharging so why not PC?

Not sure if anything will/has changed with the move to make all PC a monthly subscription for new vehicles (don't see why it would) - we will have to see as people get their Q4 vehicles and their month's trial expires.
