Premium Upgrades Package no longer includes phone dock?

what a load of crock. The PUP listing also doesn't include 4 doors, 4 wheels, 2 keys, and so on. BUT, the accessory page DOES list that the Accessory Dock is included with PUP if ordered on a custom car.

It's not like they haven't devalued the PUP package anyway for 6k.



By the way, Boatvera, we used to live in DC for 8 years. We moved to arizona several years ago. We lived in Foggy bottom area. You saying Tysons brings back memories! Used to go to Tysons all the time. Is Tesla in the actual mall? Or just around there?

There is a gallery in the mall (which is always mobbed with lookie-loos ). The actual SC is close by on Tyco.

All I know about the cell phone dock is what my DS said. I gather it appears to be another attempt to cut down on things to speed up deliveries!

Just picked up my X with PUP. Dock wasn't there, but when I asked for one the DS brought it out and offered to install it.

(Then it turned out it wouldn't work with my case anyway, so I had him leave it off. He just gave me the box with the parts and said they can put it in any time in future.)

I've had that problem too. I got an extender on Amazon that worked OK, though it tended to stay with the phone when I unplugged rather than stay attached to the cradle. I got a new phone last week and the new case works better in the charging cradle.

I agree that the communication is something of a mess. However, I wouldn't fret. The phone dock is garbage. I never use mine. You're better off getting something else. I like the magnetic holder I got from Abstract Ocean.

I took delivery the other week and one DS said it was included with the PUP, then when I actually took delivery and asked where it was, another DS said that they don't include it anymore. :/

Took delivery 4 weeks ago of my S and it was included. Took delivery Friday of my X and it was not. Both have PUP.

OA and DS both told be it is no longer included and as my X was built after the S it is not included. Also as an added item, tow hitch is included now on the X as Standard Equipment if you order today, but when mine was built this also was not included. Oh well.

I encountered the same thing when I picked up an X with PUP last week. During pick up the delivery specialist clarified is is no longer included in the PUP. You can always ask at pickup if they have an extra cable (they may not have the side holders)— worked for me, but I genuinely was expecting the cable to be included. Personaly, I recommend just ordering is and getting the complete kit. It’s a very easy installation.

Yeah, to be honest it doesn't fit my S7 Edge with or without case and doesn't fit my wife's iPhone 6+ with her case, anyway, so I didn't care, or I would just spend the $34. More the principal that less and less comes with the PUP and with Tesla what you get depends on the day of the week in many cases.
