Some positive news from Ukraine for a change. This video popped up in my FB feed about the first presentation of the Model S in Ukraine. At first, I thought it's some kind of official event organized by Tesla Motors to promote the Model S, judging by the ambient, the signage, the promo-material etc, but apparently it was organized by the local Tesla Club there. And I am impressed to say the least! All that promo-material, booklets, hostesses, flags, pins and whatnot, it must cost a fortune to be organized by an enthusiast club. Or maybe it's a local dealer that is trying to make some business by selling Model S's in Ukraine (sort of like what Auto-Outlet has done in Finland). Nevertheless, I liked the video and if it really is an enthusiast move to spread the Tesla love in Ukraine, they deserve respect.

But I think the driver should be a little bit more careful when making a U-turn in the middle of the street (at 3:19 you can clearly see that he's making an illegal U-turn on a crowded street, crossing double white-line divider) :scared:

Edit: For some reason the vehicle has temporary Austrian license plates. I think that the driver just received his brand new Model S, and he had it picked up at Tesla's Vienna SC, then drove to Lviv (771km). Hence, temporary Austrian license plates  hun, are you reading this?

I am indeed reading it. My car will be delivered in mid May, and my delivery specialist sent me an email. I asked if there is any way to take delivery in Vienna, but he insisted I had to come to Tilburg.

A Slovak owner (Medved) wrote a great entry about his trip from Tilburg to home: http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/show...ssions/page127?p=587869&viewfull=1#post587869 He, too, seems to have a temporary Austrian plate.

Yes,
they must take a trained pilot for the testdrives.
With this driver, I'd not go in the car.

Unfortunately due to such violations of traffic in our country
other drivers and motorcyclists are injured seriously.

The laws are very inaccurate, anyone can evade responsibility(cheap enough).
