Sure hope that's followed by, "Trump increases NASA's budget 10-fold"...otherwise it doesn't matter much.

If they cancelled the SLS program and gave SLS's budget to SpaceX, no budget increases would be needed...
But I doubt Trump would do that, specially since Congress has such authority and congress likes SLS (Senate Launch System).

This “presidential directive” means nothing unless Congress appropriates the necessary funds. Trump signs stuff to get people to applaud him and make him feel better. He has no interest in, or understanding of, science or the spirit of exploration.

If NASA can convince Trump they might discover these, could possibly save some dough. Perhaps Trump would be willing to go with a probe?

It's easy to become cynical when this type of Presidential directive gets resurrected every few years. I think the first time was about thirty years ago with George H. W. Bush. Elon probably said it best. Do it.
