Pressing button to remove charge cable? How many times?

Some times I have to press the charging cable button like 4-5 times to get the car to wake up and release it.
Does this happen to anyone else? Maybe I need to open the door first to wake it up and then take it out? But that is bass ackward.

I suggest you open a door first to wake the car, then try to remove the cable. I also suggest keeping the button pressed, waiting for the light blue LED and then pulling the cable.

Then white it is. When I look at my car, I see it light blue. Either my model 2020 3 is different or my eyes deceive me

Nah, I've been seeing people for years across all of the Tesla car models refer to that white color as light blue.

I just double checked and my MY SR in Florida is definitely blue when the charge port is open and blue when I am able to remove the cable.

I press down on the button and hold for the light to change white. Takes 1-3 seconds, then I remove the plug.

Press and hold, as stated. It used to be a short press would do it, but an update a few years ago changed it. I spoke with the service center and from logs they were able to tell me exactly how many times and how long I held each press. It was kind of Big-Brotherish.
