I would love to purchase the Tesla Offer Frunk V4. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or dexterity to install this on my own. Any recommended installers in the Bay Area?

Is there something posted as to V3 vs v4 etc?

According to them, the difference between the Mark 3 and 4 is that with the MK3, it's possible for something to block the frunk from closing, but the system won't report out to the car that it isn't latched correctly. The MK4 fixes that.

Maybe not, according to some prior posts it seems like you can order from them but request waiting until V4/MK4 is available.

I think that's a valid concern. But I feel like Hansshow has been doing this and building these kits for a while now with the other Model cars. I had good experience with the trunk kick sensor. Their wiring and connectors were OEM quality. I guess TO's Mark 4 tells you if the hood is not latched but I'd be standing there watching it close anyways...I used the "savings" to buy Hans' key ring.

That's a concern of mine also and why I haven’t ordered the Hansshow. I believe there is a waterproof bag the unit sits in? Would prefer the waterproof in TO’s kit and may just pay the extra for it.

TO's kit does not appear to be on sale. Looks like it's the regular pricing since the V4 was added.

Couple more install videos, these two tell you to remove the lower ball joints with the struts still attached instead of trying to detach the struts first.

What is the advantage of Hansshow vs TO? I assume there is a difference in the kits?

Is one a better choice then the other?

Haven't received email from TO yet, but did get an email from DHL today saying I have a shipment on the way from Hong Kong. I haven't ordered anything else that would ship from Hong Kong so I think it is likely the MY Power Frunks I odered from TO.

Edit to add: Just chatted with TO and they confirmed that it is my order. They indicated they shipped a batch of the MY Power Frunks today.
