on the back of a thread the other day where black horse is shafting someone due to price changes in the gfv will this effect us at all as we ordered a car much cheaper in july.

is iit an over the air update doing this or better batteries?

must just be tweaking the acceleration curves then to make comfortable less rapid. only way I can see they increase the range without adding cells.

Someone did mention a while back that the suspect the SR+ is the same a the old mid range version but software locked, like the old model s 60...anyone able to confirm or otherwise? I'll take more range for nowt!

probably software locked which then calls on the reserve cells of the mid range when the old cells die out thus extending longevity.
from what I remember seeing the standard range has a different size spec in reality than the full rang its a different layout or more packs or something.

Checking weights of the different specs should give some clue as to whether battery units are shared.
