Just clicked edit design on my preorder and after saving the changes (no actual change) the price is now reflecting $51,990 vs the old $54,990.

I’m still waiting for leasing.

FYI: I just chatted with the delivery specialist chat (Tesla Delivery Day) and they were able to make the change to my order to reflect the new price. Since I already financed the vehicle, he said Tesla will send me a refund check for the price difference.

FSD went up $1K. I can't remember what my base price was before taxes and fees. 2020 MY Black on Black FSD and upgraded wheels

Because I have a very old order the price increases between my order and same car today is $10 cheaper at $59,990 Instead of 60k. The reason this makes a difference is I live in Vermont and in order to qualify for my local utility 2.5k rebate, the purchase price of my electric vehicle has to be under 60k!

On the good side, maybe our insurance premiums will decrease to reflect the lower MSRP. That $2/month will make up for it rather quickly

I have no VIN but was unable to 'Edit Design' to obtain the updated pricing, so I called the advisor. My LR build Blue w/ White & 20" Induction ($56990) should be adjusted by Tuesday eod he said to $53990. He said because there is no 'Edit Design' button they have to do it on their end.

This also puts me under $55k so I will get another $5k NJ rebate

My guess would be they’ve exhausted the pre-order backlog for LR AWD and Performance and the amount of new orders for those trims isn’t keeping up with the production numbers.

Doesn’t this remove the price difference between the LR RWD and LR AWD? Maybe this is how they are addressing all those pre-orders for LR RWD.
