Pricing for 2019 Model S Pre Raven

Looking for help in pricing my 2019 Model S 100D (not Raven). I can’t seem to find accurate pricing for this car with the upgrades it has/doesn’t have. And what features are key vs not important? Thanks for your help!

At peak prices earlier in 2022 it almost didn’t matter if it was pre-Raven or post-Raven.

But today, it’s really hard to say what it’s worth. Prices are all over the map.

It’s worth what ever it sells for

Get a price from Tesla (even if you have no plans to trade). They might be low but they are accurate/consistent (more current reality).

Also doesn’t matter what you paid for it and any 3rd party additions typically add $0 value.

People will care that it has FSD paid for - that's important. That costs $15k now, so I'd leave the $5k part out. Knowing it has the Cold Weather Package is important too. Tesla went through a period where initially they had a dizzying array of options and packages, and over the years slowly whittled it down to where now they literally have none other than color selections and seating configs (on X and Y).

I'd highlight the wheels, the FSD, and list the features that it has because the packages changed so much over the years.

As far as price goes, the market sucks right now.

When I sold my MS 85D this fall, I had the best luck on Craigslist. Nothing but spammers and low ball wholesalers on Autotrader and the like.

As far as valuation, Carfax was lowest but seems more consistent.

I sold it PP 45k and it went pretty well.

I thought any commercial company like Carmax had to strip the FSD before reselling it?

You thought wrong. Tied to the car forever.

It’s tied to car, yes. But if Tesla buys the car (trade in, lease return, etc), they will likely remove things like FSD and FUSC. If they sell that car to a dealer via auction is where the instances of removed features have occurred..
