I'm looking at a 2016 70D - pre face lift with AP1, 21" wheels, air suspension, panoramic roof, rear jump seats, black exterior/carbon fiber interior/grey leather... 25k miles... for $52K...

Decent deal/bad deal?

It’s a great deal. That’s probably an AP1 Car which struggled a bit in values. Miles on this one are good and options are solid.

Verify autopilot is active and there is no major damage.

Thanks for the reply. Only reason i questioned it was due to how closely priced the 85D & 90D's are now to the 70D....The '16 i'm looking at appears pristine from the photos, and all other similar models (85/90) which are close in price seem to have considerable damage to the exterior/paint/wheels

2016 $52k! and you get buy the ESA. only $7k more then the example below.
damn its a good deal! compared to this 2015 70D for $45k Model S / 2015 / Red - 3c382 | Only Used Tesla
