Problems with AAC files?

I took my thumb drive from my Model S and put it into my Model 3 when I got it. I have mostly been listening to audio books since then, but yesterday I tried playing music from the thumb drive. The older MP3 files played fine (that's all I tried right after getting the 3), but tracks purchased from iTunes (unprotected AAC) all seem to get a "failed to load" message. These files all played fine in my Model S.

Can anybody else confirm this?

This probably belongs in another thread, but I have over 65GB of AAC audio files that I copy from my iTunes library (using rsync). I would really hate to have to convert all of them to MP3. Right now on the Model S and X they cause some loading errors (also random cover art not to show up). I'm holding off ordering the Model 3 mostly due to wanting the AWD, but the crappy USB interface on the Mode S/X does not give me much hope for the Model 3 software.
