We are about to have a large Tesla system installed and curious if this should be a concern or not?

The inverter in the article was installed in 2013, so it's not one of the new Tesla-branded ones. The panels referenced in the article appear to date back to Solar City days, so they're almost certainly not the same as the panels you'll be getting, either.

It is obviously concerning, but as far as I can tell has nothing to do with the new Tesla inverter. It is a solar city install from 2013, and it seems the inverter is of that vintage.
