Procedure for exposing the nose cone charging lugs for the 12V battery

Just a quick check in on this thread regarding the nosecone. I used the info here to remove it in order to mount an EZPass for tolls.

On my S (VIN 10,XXX), the nosecone has 4 release tabs along the bottom, and then spring-loaded body clips in the sides and top (5-6 total). The "prying" methods described earlier aren't necessary, and are in fact probably counter productive. Get on your back and look up where the "flat" bottom portion of the cone meets the mesh grille plastic. You'll see the four tabs you want to depress and pull the bottom of the cone out. Then work along the edges by pulling straight forwards to disengage the clips.
