Got an email that I could configure my model 3. It says I could reply to this email to get connected with a product specialist. Has anyone tried this or has got an answer? I'm going to guess they dont have any real answers. I asked a long range battery with standard interior would be available. Not reply so far

I have asked Customer Service questions and they always get back to me by either email or telephone call. It may take a few days because they are swamped with questions. They really don't have any information about the timing of future options. Usually they will find out about the same time you do.

To answer your question, in my opinion, the basic interior will be available in "late 2018." This is Tesla's current position on AWD and SR options. I think there is a real likelihood that the standard interior will only be available on the SR model, but I don't know. I would like the SR option with PUP but I may need to select LR option in order to get PUP. We shall see.

Frustrated with the lack of information from tesla. Been waiting for the this configurator for 2 years. If assumption is correct I would configure now, but of course no information is available
