Production and Delivery Update for Taiwan

Yep. Contacted for charger and insurance (Fubon). My deliver specialist is quite good so far

But my car will only get to taiwan late dec. And then inspection. So expected delivery still late jan. Sad that they can't do better shipping since my tesla is production complete already.

Insurance should be okay - just really how much you want. I don't think we are paying more just because it's a tesla.

Charging installation: 2x,000 to -3x000 one time. We are getting the wall charger for free, with the long cable. (Not sure what the us gets). One supplier is a reputable electric company. I'm sure they know a lot about electricity but less about Tesla's. The other is founded by guys who used to import Tesla's so have done this 20-30 time already. I am going with the latter, as I think they are more knowledgeable and I needed them to do a good job with convincing the housing committee, which they did. They are installing tomorrow actually at my house. Let me know if you want a referral.

Yep. 25m long cable. 80amp. My charger installation guy took care of everything including the separate meter and picking up the charger from tesla.

Once you get a delivery specialist that person will take help you coordinate

Nope. The only thing is I got an email that told me production is done. My guess is they won't change the status till end of the month, when they will have a better idea of delivery date, which is still second half of January.

The only other thing I heard is that the service plan detail will come out right before delivery. Not sure if I will get it.

By the way, quite a few of the tesla owners are meeting up on 12/18 and someone is showing off their imported x. Let me know if you wanna join.

Would 華城 be the former or latter?
