Production Time

I'm now waiting on my 2nd Model 3. After 2 canceled delivery dates, I was told that my original car was badly damaged in transport and I have since been assigned a new VIN...and restarted the waiting clock. The Tesla rep said that the new car entered production on July 6. Does anyone know the typical time it takes an individual car to finish production?

I would think that the actual physical putting together of the car is fairly quick, certainly less than a day. My question though would be what do mean by "entered production"? Has it only been scheduled to be built? Are they sourcing parts?

After it's been produced you still need to wait on transport too.

I wonder how many cars the transports have now mangled. With all of the reports, it seems to maybe be many hundreds.
I guess Tesla is having to fight for availability of transports and there may be some barrel scraping occurring.
