Hi,
I just joined the forum after driving a Model S P100D yesterday. Simply blown away by it. I have a Cayenne Turbo. For a while I was searching for an ideal sports car for weekend fun like 911 Turbo. After driving the S, I feel ICE is so outdated. P100D can be a single car for both family use and also fulfill the desire for sports car. Given I am a recent convert from ICE to EV and still going through the transformation, I have a few questions
1. Most likely I would buy a slightly used P90D or P100D. Is buying from 3rd party dealers on autotrader ok - any gotchas to watch for? Will the warranty carry forward?
2. Likewise, for a large purchase like this, should I consider sales from "private sellers" on autotrader?
3. Tesla has their own user car site. I can find bunch of P85D, but very few (if any) P90D or P100D
4. Assuming 2016 or later model, what are the must have options?
