Protecting seats from kids - idea for a cover?

My kids are constantly scuffing/damaging the backside of the front seats.
I'm really surprised there isn't a simple clip-in cover to buy kind of like a laptop cover.
Anyone else think this would be useful or is it just me?
Perhaps even just a film similar to a screen protector that could easily be applied and removed in the future.
Curious if others have this issue as well because all I see is awful pleather covers on amazon.

I've seen what is basically pre cut paint protection film for the seat backs on some accessories site or another I can't remember exactly which site. Or you could order a small roll and save yourself some money

They come off pretty easy so you could always just replace them after the kids are older

the top suggestion so far is the clear film but no way no ho that's worth more than $50. I have some drafting experience and tempted to design my own and get them pre-cut by a shop.
