PSA: Be careful with sunblock!

For the last couple of weekends we have been spending time at the pool. My wife and I made the mistake of applying sunblock to ourselves ... I don't know if it's the brands we've been using or what, but the white sunblock transfers VERY easily onto the seat/armrest material and is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get off. We bought vegan leather cleaner from Amazon and put some significant elbow grease into rubbing out the stains, and even after that we can still see it. Never had this issue before, but we've also never had a brand new black leather interior before

Anyway, with summer hitting its stride I wanted to get the word out. I'm going to mention this to the service center next time I have the car in there, maybe one of their onsite detailers has something that can help.

Plast-dip your seats black if you didn't choose that option at purhcase.

I noticed this after my wife drove the car yesterday as well. Armor All leather seat wipes took care of it without a problem.

Yes,that's why the signs that say "shower before getting into pool/spa". Shower before getting into the pool, shower before getting into the car (when coming from the pool). This is not a Vegan problem, it is a people problem.

Happened to us this weekend too. My banana boat sunscreen did but my wife's fancy one did not. Mine rubbed out easily enough though with some spit and my tshirt.....

Thanks! This worked for me too. I tried the Dove soap and brush, didn't work, IPA didn't work. Armor all cleaning wipes did the trick. Thanks so much
