PSA: FSD Exploit [Ordering FSD speeds up vin assignment?]

Letting people know that if you have a MYLR, your EDD is getting delayed by people cutting to the front of the line who add FSD and remove it immediately after getting a VIN. This means that people are waiting less than half the time you are currently now waiting and more so the longer you have to wait!

This is a zero-sum game, so the least I can do is let you know, hence the PSA.

FSD on MYP does nothing, its the MYLR where it makes the difference.

How many reservation holders know of this or are on TMC. I am sure it is happening but at what scale?

It would be impossible to know what the scale is, if I had to guess only a small cohort of the overall queue, but it is happening and it does affect everyone waiting and they don’t necessarily need to be on TMC.

Yes, my guess is it’s only a matter of time before Tesla closes this loophole, for some this will work and for others they might be potentially stuck with FSD they didn’t want.

Tesla (TSLA) Closes Shortened Delivery Loophole

Just thought I would drop this link.

Looks like they closed the loophole of adding FSD then removing it once you get a vin in order to speed delivery. I actually removed it this morning due to a funny feeling something like this was goin down, so not sure what that means for delivery.

I did not get the notification or warning when I removed.

The customer could always ask for it's removal upon delivery since FSD is easily added or disabled. Worst case you take it with FSD or Tesla says no and gives the VIN to the next customer.
