Now that we're getting into our fourth year of ownership on the cars we are getting some funky suspension noises. Most of these appear to be related to two issues where Tesla's part durability is suboptimal. Wondering how many people have had to replace either the front upper control arm typically due to ball joint noise, or the compression bushing on the curved lower control arm in the front? Those appear to be the two most vulnerable components in relationship to wear and noise. Please note that the compression bushing is different from the lower control arm bushing that frequently is replaced with the very fine Mountain Pass spherical bushing (by folks seeking to gain better steering feel). The compression bushing is the horizontally oriented large bushing on the curved lower front suspension member with a ball joint on the other end and aftermarket parts for this part typically allow you to gain caster adjustment and better control under extreme braking loads. You have two responses to give about whether or not either of these have required replacement under warranty or by Tesla, or whether you have swapped them out for aftermarket parts obviously at your own expense. Both of our cars have now had both upper control alarm Ball joints replaced. Both also have MPP's fantastic front lower control alarm bushing but neither car has the compression arm bushing/adjustable caster
