Purchase magnetic holder looks good

I purchased this from Ali Express actually it works really good was looking for a phone holder as we all know tesla does not have vent holder

I decided to go with this works great thought i give my 2 cents for the MY people

looks great and i like the location. Are you worried the adhesive may leave a residue mark? That's my only concern, remember someone on this forum posted about it

I did not think about that, It is cosmetic if it does leave a residue, I think having my phone outweighs the residue when i have to sell the car

I’ve been using this since late Sept and it’s been great. You can fold it and rotate it back and out of sight if you want. Need a thin MagSafe case or use the metal ring (has a cardboard guide for ring placement around the MagSafe ring). Holds great. I don’t like my phone higher as the wheel is either in the way or blocks some view.

Just trying to understand. Isn’t there a dual mount charging holder built into the car just 2 inches back from this location? Unless of coarse your trying to type while driving which is a different kind of issue.

The charger sucks, just off and on charges but mostly heats the phone up. I ended up putting a spacer there so it doesn’t charge/heat my phone. Plus phone is easier to see there if I need to look/glance. On my M3 I didn’t mount anything just used the tray but the poor charging form makes the area less usable. Honestly wish I could disconnect the charging function.

Any other mounts for this area?

All MagSafe products are marketed as iPhone. Are you saying they work with other phones?

Yeah the wireless charging pad hasn’t been great for me either, but you can disconnect it; you just lift it up and unplug it from the usb c port.

Is this for the new console (2022) with the alacantera charging pad? I haven’t messed with it but it’s isn’t like the old style where the pad just flips up
