    Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a used Tesla from Norway and was wondering if anyone knew the specifics on what taxes would be involved to bring it into the EU as I've read mixed reports.

From what I can see if buying a user car from private individual, no import duty or VAT has to be paid for cars being exported from EU/EAA. Does anyone know the list of requirements to be able to import a Tesla from Norway without paying additional import tax or VAT?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

Which country do you want to import it to?

Anyone can tell me how cars are sold in Norway?
If you buy used tesla from company will the price include VAT?
If I open finn.no I can't understand if the price includes VAT or no.
Or all EV used and new are VAT free?

All prices include VAT. Called MVA or moms in Norway.

Theres a phenomenon that almost all used Model 3 on Finn are listed at or higher than equivalent model bought brand new from Tesla (which are tax-exempt).

So if the asking price on Finn are final price, it's a bad deal. If they are VAT inclusive, it's still a bad deal. If they are VAT exclusive, it's a terrible deal.
