It's like a combo of 1970's car design and modern electric technology.

It makes the current market's ugly EVs look so much nicer. Well, I won't name them since it is subjective and some of the members may get insulted for driving them.

Time will tell how many Russians will buy this over Tesla cars.

The first version of the concept car was made on the basis of retro-kit "IZH-Kombi"
Concern "Kalashnikov" presented an electric concept car CV-1 at the international forum "Army-2018". The concept is based on several original systems developed by the Concern.

Including high-speed system of modular control of batteries, allowing to reach 2000A (in the perspective of 3000A) with the control of the elements in real time and control of charge and precharge. In addition, CV-1 has a system of optimal balancing of elements, taking into account the slightest difference in the characteristics of each.

The battery of the electric supercar is powered by a revolutionary inverter, with dimensions of 50x50x100 cm and a mass of 50 kg, and allows the development of capacities up to 1.2 MW of payload. The battery capacity is 90 kW / h.

The presented concept, built on the basis of retro-IZH-21252 "Combi", is a test bench for the developed complex systems. Their condition is regulated by a common onboard calculator of Kalashnikov's own design, which allows monitoring the state of the engine, inverter and battery.

Power CV-1 - 220 kW. The cruising range is 350 km. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h - 6 seconds.
