Putting car in company name

    Wonder if still get 7500 credit for company. Limited liability partnership. Could I have car in my name and still treat as company car for taxes? Would like not to get another insure prance policy for the car. If not registered in my name would need to

    Yes, a business can buy a Tesla Model S and get the $7500 tax credit; you have to declare the percentage of business use. The car would have to be titled in the name of the business, because only the actual owner can claim the tax credit. So that probably would not work for you. (It should work for sole proprietors.)

    Edit: this is easily checked by simply reading form 8936, which is where I got the information.
